"Heart, Strength and Dedication -
A Leader, a Competitor, a Gentleman"

Randy
Randy May 2004-2005

Although he hasn't played a Cowboys league game in over 10 years, Randy has always been, and still remains, a true Cowboy. As one of the original Cowboys he showed himself to be a leader and keen competitor on the ice, wearing the A until he hung 'em up in 1992. But his retirement from player status has not diminished his leadership and competitive influence on the team.

While his #10 jersey still dominates under the capable custody of his elder son Derek, and his grit and determination show through in the play of his younger son Cory, Randy himself has become the #1 fan and supporter of both the Cowboys and Cowboys II teams.

Randy is always there at the rink to cheer his boys and the rest of us (and to keep the ref on his toes when necessary). It is this steadfast support of the team, the occasional outburst of Cowboys Pride, the words of encouragement as we leave the ice (win or lose), sharing a beer in the dressing room afterwards, and his soft-spoken words of wisdom that help to keep the Cowboys spirit going strong in all of us.
